Never an expert, always a guide

In Tinkuy there are no teachers. Pumas do not learn "from" adults, but with them. We have guides and mentors who accompany, inspire, empower and care for them. Guides are also on their own Hero's Journey, and as part of it, they make basic commitments to each Puma.

Guide-Hero Contract Example

As a Guide, I promise to:

  1. Fulfill the promises Tinkuy has made to you and your family.

  2. Give you challenges, goals, rewards and limits to inspire and equip you.

  3. Present you with processes, frameworks, examples, recipes and tough questions to use as you see fit.

  4. Let you learn from failure and face the natural consequences, when necessary.

  5. Guard your safety in our Studio and support the Honor Code.

They spark children’s capacity to learn, empower them to face challenges and discover their potential. They provide the conditions for Pumas to develop a healthy self-esteem and grow integrally in a respectful environment.
