Hello! I'm Ines Kudo.

Nine years ago, I decided I would not settle for an education that prioritized conformity over independent thinking, excellence, and the joy of learning.

When my son entered the traditional system at just three years old, I watched the spark in his eyes begin to fade. He asked fewer questions. He did what he was told. And I found myself wondering: was this environment truly cultivating his full potential? Was it protecting his love of learning?

As a psychologist with over a decade of experience in international education policy, I thought I understood how learning worked. But it took my own child’s silence to open my eyes.

I didn’t want a system that trained him to comply. I wanted one that inspired excellence and protected his curiosity. One that built character as intentionally as it built intellect.

I was looking for a place where joy and rigor coexist. Where autonomy grows with accountability. Where young people pursue mastery with purpose.

That place existed, just not here.

So I brought it to Lima and joined the Acton Academy global network.

I founded Tinkuy Marka Academy, and over the years it has grown into a close-knit community of families who share deep convictions about education and childhood.

Tinkuy is not a place where we simply send our children. It is a second home where we come together, hold one another to high standards, celebrate growth, and bring out the best in each other.

If you are intentionally raising your child to be kind, curious, and disciplined, to think deeply and love learning, we may be a good fit. I would be honored to meet you.

Enter your information in this form and I will personally send you our Info Kit, along with a link to schedule a visit.

While you’re here, I invite you to explore the principles that guide our work at Tinkuy.

Warmly,

Inés

We didn’t reform the old model.
We built a new one.

Do you believe children are far more capable than we imagine?

Do you want your child to master the tools of learning, build real-world skills, and excel amid constant change?

Do you long for your child to develop a warm heart, integrity, and the courage to lead a meaningful life?'

If you are raising your family with this vision, we promise a learner-driven community where your child will pursue excellence with purpose, develop real mastery and love of learning, and forge character through meaningful responsibility.

Recognized. Proven. Growing.

Acton Academy is not a local experiment. It is part of a growing global shift in education.

This is the global movement behind Tinkuy Marka Academy, the only Acton Academy in Peru.

Why Take the Leap?

Families who choose Tinkuy are not looking for something easier. They are looking for something deeper.

They want their children to grow through challenge, not avoid it. To take ownership of their learning, not just do what they are told. To build discipline, resilience, and integrity rather than chase comfort. To be kind, honest, and generous people. To develop their gifts and use them to serve the world in a way that brings true joy.

They know this is not what traditional schools are built to do. They know we are.

Tinkuy meets and exceeds national and international standards and offers formal certification. Acton Academy is a proven global model, recognized and respected around the world.

If you are ready, the next step is simple.

Real work. Real responsibility. Real joy.

National requirements. Real learning. International Reach.

PEAD can issue official certificates at any time upon a family’s request, for a small fee.

International Certification

Tinkuy also offers international certification options based on each family’s goals, including US transcripts through our IALDS accreditation (accepted by most colleges and universities in the US and worldwide), and K–12 high school certificates recognized internationally.
